I was astounded to read of the Waitakere Mayor's attack on North Shore Councillor Tony Holman. All because Mr. Holman has asked the Council to reconsider embarking on another of Bob's adventures. The North Shore City Council erroneously sold the Auckland Airport shares because it did not consider the Council's should be involved in airports. That decision has cost the ratepayer about $165 million plus dividends. And now it has decided to risk ratepayers money on a whimsical airport scheme rather than a sure bet. Tony Holman was right to raise objections and Bob Harvey had no business in attacking an elected representative of another city.
